Requires: Get Famous This mod allows your sims to open their own hair salon! You will be able to earn fame and money from doing your clients hair! There are two ways to open your hair salon: #1 LOT TRAIT All you do is assign this lot trait to your hair salon lot!
With this trait sims will show up to your salon from morning till night
(around 10pm) and then they will stop spawning until the next day. This
is my favorite way to open your salon because it is more natural and
realistic!
I have only tested this mod on a residential lot.I locked everyone out of my house and placed down a separate room for my salon! Since this trait works similar to the resort mod you can download Zerbu venue changes mod which will open up “island bluffs” and “ancient ruins” lots which worked perfectly with my resort mod! Download here. #2 START AN EVENT All you do is use your phone or calendar to plan the hair stylist event!
– With this event clients will immediately come to your lot. You don’t need any special lots for this to work but sometimes generic lots don’t show up when you plan an event! – You can earn lots of fame and money using this method! – This is my least favorite way of opening the salon because its a bit un-realistic since sims will still stay until the event is done. You can of course just ask them to leave after you style there hair but the lot trait is more natural!
How to set up your shop? After you decide between an event or the lot trait all you need to do is put down this chair!
Can you become a famous? You can become famous from doing your clients hair and doing a good job will get you some extra fame! It’s also not a long process!
Bonus stuff!
1. Clients will even notify you of what they want!
2. You can earn extra fame points if you do well and if you don’t…well this happens!
3. Customers will sit down in your shop so make sure you have some books
for entertainment or a TV while they wait! If you have a stereo they
will dance!
Requires: Get Famous You can now create and film your own reality shows! The shows will be live and last three days and during those days you can earn fame, money, and of course followers! Don’t worry though you can always cancel events so if you don’t want it to last three days just end it early! You will be able to earn extra fame points for keeping the viewers entertained with drama so you can either make sims fall in love or you can just make them fight?
How to get started? 1. Build your “stage” on another lot or at home! Requires: Cameras (Get famous) and basic needs furniture!
2. Start the reality show event or plan it on the calendar!
How does casting work?
Before you start casting make
sure you have an idea of what you want your show to be about! After that
then go ahead and choose the sims for your show!
ONLY THE HOUSEHOLD CAST AND CAMERA CREW ARE REQUIRED!!!!
**IMPORTANT** YOU CAN ONLY “HIRE” OR MANUALLY SELECT SIMS IN A CATEGORY!! YOU CAN NOT DO BOTH OR SOME SIMS WON’T SHOW UP!
Example: I manually selected women but hired all of the camera crew!
Bonus stuff – If
you do well during the reality show then you might see new interactions
and buffs after the show which may or may not secretly increase your
fame!
Reality Show Tip I have set the base up for you but now you will have to do your part! You can use clubs, mods, or even lot traits to enhance your reality show! Example: I added the mean lot trait to make sims angry and fight more! RECOMMENDED LOT TYPES If you are not having the event in your personal home then I recommend building your stage on “ancient ruins” or “island bluffs” lot types which you have to unlock by using this mod: Zerbu venue changes mod
