100 FOLLOWERS GIFT – part I – ROARIN’ RETRO Download & Details UNDER THE CUT [as this would otherwise consume your whole dash]

TIGHT WAVE CLAYIFIED: I’m honestly not the biggest fan of clayified
hairs, ‘cause if there’s anything I’m super mm about, it’s hair. Having
said that, TS4 severely lacks in mm vintage hairstyles, so I was really
excited to find this TS3 hair conversion by @blahberry-pancake.
This clayified hair is available in 10 EA NATURAL swatches. NOTE: There
are known transparency issues that have been stated on the original
mesh post; these issues are quite visible in CAS but barely noticeable in-game (at least in mine). Not hat-compatible. This
is my first and probably last hair recolor because I find recoloring
hair to be so tedious and I applaud creators who can stand to recolor
more than 10 swatches.
2) WINTER COAT RECOLOR: Although @sims4-marigold’s original mesh
download includes a good amount of lovely swatches, I wanted several
more with a woollier texture and gold buttons, because I’m excessive
like that. Plus, this looks great paired with the dress below to give
you a semi-authentic 1920s silhouette. 3 swatches.
3) DENIM DRESS RECOLOR: I wanted more casual day dresses for my 1920s sims, so I recolored/retextured @rusty-sims‘
denim shirt dress in colors from my mixtape palette. Since the
silhouette is not authentic to the 1920s on its own, I HIGHLY recommend
pairing this dress with a coat accessory (like above) to create the
perfect illusion. NOTE: For certain poses, the texture on the bottom of
the dress gets stretched out and distorted; however, there is nothing I
can do to fix this due to the nature of the mesh. 8 swatches.
4) IRON&WINE PS ACTION: I wanted to do something more
than just recolors for this gift, so I whipped up a VERY basic PS
action. This moody vintage-inspired action slightly softens and
mattifies, while also adding light noise. This is ideal for simmers who
don’t own the Topaz Clean plug-in but like the effect. I’ve only tested
the action on some Brindleton Bay shots, so I’m not quite sure how this
action will look on shots taken in other worlds.
*WARNING*
The Clayified Tight Wave Hair cannot
be used in conjunction with the Winter Coat, as the transparency issues
with the converted hair cast weird shadows and lines onto the upper
seams of the coat. SEE BELOW:

gift set took a great deal of time and effort, and I’m damn proud of
