This set took me more than four months to finish, but I’m incredibly happy to finally share this with you! Hereby I like to present you my mini-collection of Mid Century inspired pieces: Art of the Century.
I absolutely love everything mid century, whether it’s buildings, prints or furniture. If I would have the space and money, I would probably stuff my house with things from that time. Which is why I wanted to make some furniture inspired by mid century, so I could at least fill my Sims’ houses with the things I would love to own. I hope you enjoy it!
Getting closer to being able to do completely original meshes! These are objects separated from EA meshes. (The lamp is from the still-life setup, the trunk is from the picnic baskets, and the frames are from the wall decor that came with CKS) All are base game compatible.
The frames have the original textures (used in Cool Kitchen Stuff) plus some recolors that I tried to make as maxis-matchy as possible (Finding art that matches the game proves difficult).
Anyways, I have no idea if this has been done before, and if it has, I’m sorry!
Issues: Because these meshes were separated from their original, more complicated EA mesh, they are low-poly. The slots on the trunk table are a touch wonky, but still functional.
I’m back with new set! This time I decided to
make another living room. Milton Living Room is very modern set with a
elements of manny other styles, like MCM design, or scandinavian
everything is creating really nice atmosphere to spend time here. You
can arrange many interrios with this set. Mirros can be use to give your
intterior very minimalist look. It’s perfect set for those who like
comfy live!
NOTE!
When you put clutter on
fireplace and you would like to hang a wall mirror over it (mirror
fireplace) it’s very important to you that activate moveObjects on by
using code console. You need to press and the same time Ctrl + Shift + C and type in window bb.moveobjects on and at last click Enter then mode will be activated!

Ok so… a few days ago I was cleaning out/sorting my mods folder, and generally bemoaning the dearth of maxis match antique/vintage cc, especially buy mode stuff, and I was thinking that it would be pretty simple to frankenmesh the base game old timey camera onto the get to work photo studio, that way it would work as an actual camera…
And then when I was scrolling through s4s I passed the vampire’s pipe organ and was like, ‘what if i Just’… And then I was staging the preview image and using the 3 senses oil lamp, and kind of wished I had something fancier… And then I wanted something to round out the set and make up for the lamp not being BGC, and I decided to attempt something I had thought of months ago, and made it into a desk picture because I thought it was cute and we need more standing frames!
…So basically I got a little carried away. I also started a phonograph but because there are already some pretty MM ones that look similar I may not release it. Also I was kind of running out of steam haha.
anyway that’s enough rambling shfgdfhf, I hope you all enjoy this little set ❤
NOTE: In the second preview image you can see the outline of the vase through the cameo picture, this is because I forgot to change the shadow LODs before I took it, the actual download does NOT have that problem.
I’ve always had a thing for stripes so the awesome patterns from @sparky-simish are a dream and had me feeling very inspired. Here is @waekey‘s Navillera Shirt recoloured using those very stripes.

Playing my 100 Baby Challenge has made me woefully aware that toddlers are lacking some basic clothing options… A teensy mesh edit, and viola! Cute skinny jeans for your little ones. ♡
